Metal Fire Pits

Few things express summer more than the smell of a campfire while sitting out under the stars. Add some marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers and you have the perfect setup for a summer evening. While many of us would love to go out camping, it’s not always possible. You don’t have to skip the smores at home, however, just get a fun outdoor fire pit and set it up in your backyard.

You can find an outdoor wood burning fire pit in many styles and materials. Metal fire pits are a favorite. This fire-breathing furniture can be sculpted into a variety of designs both basic and complex. Usually made from steel, some of these fire pits may also be made from specialty materials include copper or wrought iron, and combined with tile or stone. Many of them are made from recycled/upcycled metal, such as the round end of propane tanks. From classic characters to avant-garde, here are some of our favorite fire pit ideas.
